Book Review: 21 Days to Happiness

21 Days to Happiness by Ingrid Kelada

Book Review and Author Interview:

It’s a good book and at first, I was expecting a feel-good book, but this is different! And in a good way. Great tips and ideas are shared and these are gone into in-depth.

Health, success at work, deeper connections, generosity, positivity, resilience, infectiousness, genetics, life circumstances, intentional activities, biochemistry, joy, gratitude, serenity, interest, amusement, hope, pride, inspiration, awe, love, sleep, feeling empowered, loving relationships+ are all discussed along with other tips to be done over 21 days to be happy.

Quotes, studies, mini-quizzes are all utilized. Great explanations are given, good examples, resource information and more.

This is a book I will read more than once and share with others. It is a good go-to book!

Find what makes you happy and practice those things or ideas daily!

Author Interview:

  1. Why did you decide to write a book on this topic?

I became very interested in the science of happiness about 10 years ago.

Everybody has always commented on how happy and energetic I was, so I started researching happiness. I love inspiring others and sharing practical, easy advice that makes a real difference.

I wrote the book as a personal and professional challenge. I am usually more of a speaker. I chose to write so that I could reach new people, more people. I want to change people’s lives and inspire them. Now that the book is out, I am confident that I could improve more people’s lives.

I truly hope that people enjoy this step-by-step guide and find it useful!

  1. How is your book different from other books on your topic?

The book has 21 chapters or DAYS. Every “Day” in my book, I present a technique subdivided in 5 short sections: the research, practical tips, how I apply this happiness habit in my life, a “try it now” activity for people to see if they like it and my favourite resources like videos, APPs, websites, etc.

  1. What did you find most enjoyable about writing your book?

It made me even happier! Researching and writing about happiness is a great way to focus on all positive aspects of life.

  1. How are you planning to get the word out about your book?

I am so proud and excited that I tend to tell everyone about my book: clients, friends and family and even strangers! I am already active on social media and will always have a few copies on me…just in case!
