Bereaved parents feel judged as people assume at some point their grief is done, or they have been grieving too long or the sadness or depression is too much. Parents who have had a child die- “There is no end to our love for our child, therefore there is no end to our grief– not in our lifetime, anyway. We will grieve forever. We will never get over it.”

Makes sense as their child is dead! They will not see him or her again, be able to talk to them again, hold them, interact with them…
